Milipede extermination control Extermination Falcon photoMillipedes are brown or black but can also be orange or red. They range in size from 5/8 of an inch to 4 inches in length. They are long, cylindrical, many segmented worm-like creatures. Some species appear to be flattened. Every millipede has two pairs of legs attached to each apparent body segment.

Females lay 20 to 300 eggs in nests in the soil. The eggs hatch after several weeks. The young initially have only three pairs of legs with seven segments. They reach sexual maturity in two to five years.
